Visit from CMU students

Students from Carnegie Mellon University campuses in both Qatar and Pittsburg held a week-long workshop with 125 students at Nonko Primary School. It was very interesting, for me, to see how computer science/engineering students interpreted teaching Scratch and programming to the students. Similar to the way our team works they made sure that they kids first physically understand computer programming commands. But the best part of their work was the great start-up activities they had with the students. It is definitely worth it to check out their blog to learn more (there are some great photos!):

  1. It was an awesome experience! Thank you for giving us this opportunity and we hope to work with you again soon 🙂
