Scratch Workshop

Since we do have this great opportunity of a connection with students living around our office, and who are on holiday, we decided to hold a Scratch Workshop. This will be the first in a series of workshops that will promote informal learning environments in Rwanda.

This past week started April school holidays (inline with the commemoration period), and it has been such a nice experience, because during our Social Mapping Project at EPAK, for the first time, kids were allowed to take home their laptops. Most of the EPAK students live in the same neighborhood as our office and now they show up, as much as 10 at a time to use the Internet to download new activities and surf the web. Yesterday, I saw two boys on sugarlabs looking for “fun activities for boys”
